MacBookPro

MacBookPro

If you could find one man who would oppose just an idea of having Mac instead of PC that would be me.

Pros like no viruses, great design and usability would not win the simple fact that Apple products were simply overpriced. That was a year ago.

Well, everything changes, we change, our views change. I finally got myself MacBook Pro 15″. I bought it to start developing iPhone and iPad applications.

I’m really glad I have it now. Merry Christmas!

Today me and my wife decided to cook one of our national food. Manty.

I couldn’t resist to make a photoshoot of the whole process. This tasted really good :)

Two days ago I made a decision to start using my website/blog as a marketing tool, to establish myself a positive image in Baltimore Tech Community (it’s not an organization name). So from this day on I will start blogging about what I do best:

  • WordPress
  • Web development
  • SEO
  • Social Media
  • Other interesting stuff

So couple days ago I changed the title of this blog to “Vali Zairov – Baltimore WordPress Developer, SEO Expert and Web Design guru”, instead of just “Vali Zairov – Official website”. I added couple SEO plugins and two days later I checked my positions in Google.

#2 on keyword – “Baltimore WordPress Developer” – kinda surprised that there is no competition for this keyword

#11 on keyword “Baltimore SEO Expert” – SEO market is little bit more competitive with a lot of SEO companies.

I want to note that I made no effort to promote my website other than including these keywords in the title. Now let me concentrate my attention on keywords related to my area of specialization. I will write about the results later on.

But for now, thanks for reading,

Vali Zairov

UPDATE: Next day I ranked #5 on “Baltimore SEO Expert”

Last week I attended an event where WordPress founder Matt Mullenweg was sharing his memories about his baby platform and kindly answering questions from everyone in the audience in a cozy space of Fathom Creative, web design agency in DC.

I’m editing this article, so I’ll update this article very soon, thanks!
