Regional Small Business Development Center of Maryland hired me to create very clean and yet very functional website that would help their clients to find out more about starting up a small business and attending workshops.

Overview

Client wanted a website with lots of static pages as well as dynamic workshops that would display free and paid workshops in different locations in Maryland.  I used Bitrix CMS that would help client to add and edit static pages as well as the flexible database that would accommodate all the workshops and display them in calendar and chronological view.

What I have learned

I have learned how to create a website with a flexible workshop system that would accommodate various types of workshops in different locations. The most difficult part of this project was workshop that would rotate during the year and would display in calendar and chronological view.

I also improved my skills in Flash as client wanted to change some menu items on top of the website, logo and main picture of the woman on top of the website.

What client thought

Client was very pleased with how easy they could add, delete and edit workshops and being able to manage their own website using Bitrix Content Management System’s Visual Editor.
